• We give quarterly briefings to Bankstown City Council councillors and key staff on operational and development activities relevant to the local community.
• Bankstown Airport Flyer – we distribute a dedicated Community Newsletter providing information and news to 30,000 homes around the Airport. Copies are always available from our office or in electronic form on this section of our website.
• We undertake routine updates and briefings to our elected officials on new developments and operational activities which may affect our community.
• We provide notices and displays of current projects in your local libraries, shopping centres, at our airport offices and on this website.

• The Metropolitan Airports Flyer, is our monthly customer newsletter, which is distributed to more than 1,200 regular airport users and tenants. This newsletter provides airport users a range of technical information and guidelines for operating safely and securing our Airports. We regularly detail the latest news on upcoming developments and operational changes. Copies are always available on our website or from our office.

Bankstown Airport Community Consultative Forum is a community committee established to provide a forum for community to have direct interaction and input into the development and operation of Bankstown Airport through representatives of interested community based organisations.

• Identify local issues to be considered during the airport development process.
• Assist in resolving and prioritising issues based on local knowledge.
• Present the views of the broader community.
• Review drafts of development plans and provide comment.
• Brief the community on the development and operation of the airport.
• Table at meetings the views of community-based organisations and the broader community.

• Bankstown City Council – Bankstown Airport provides, at no cost, over 6 hectares of land to Bankstown City Council for use as community playing fields which support our young people
• Bankstown Netball Association – Bankstown Airport Limited is a keen sponsor of the Bankstown Netball Association – our sponsorship provides much needed safety equipment which is vital to the Association’s operations.
• TAP Colorado Springs Tour – In 2006 we have provided $3,000.00 to sponsor our dedicated your performers of the Bankstown Talent Advancement Program on their trip to Colorado Springs
