Camden Airport Master Plan 2010
The Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, the Hon. Anthony Albanese MP, approved the Master Plan for Camden Airport.
As a result of consultation and submissions by the Camden community, as well as outcomes of the Aviation White Paper released by the Minister in December 2010 there were minor changes in the Draft Plan submitted to the Minister for approval. The changes the Airport made compared to the Preliminary Draft Master Plan include the following:
- Commitment to establish a Camden Airport Consultative Committee (CACCF)
- Commitment to establish Planning Coordination Committee (PCF) involving council and state government
- Consideration to relevant provisions of Camden Draft LEP 2009
- Removal of the following potential activities from the Camden Airport Support Zone
- Bulky goods retailing
- Child care facility
- Community care facility
- Hotel
- Motel
- Place of assembly
- Place of public worship
- Warehouse
